                    All our containers are fumigated  and carefully loaded by our own staff that ensures proper handling of cargo.  Over the years our shipping personnel have become adept at making optimal space  utilisation of containers.
                    Our shipping department tracks  the container from the time of dispatch to when it is delivered to the customer  to ensure timely delivery of the cargo.
                  As per the Central Customs &  Excise norms all our containers are sealed on our factory premises which cuts  down multiple handling of cargo thereby reducing the chances of damage during  transit. 
                   
                  DELIVERY IN UK 
                   
                  Local Delivery –  
                  Local deliveries are up to a radius of approximately 10  miles from our warehouse and start at £25 depending on distance. These local  deliveries are often done at weekends.                   
                   
                  National Mainland Delivery 
                  England -  £40 
                   
                  Scotland - £40 
                  (Except KW, IV, AB, PH, PA, DD, DG, KA,FK,   KY which are £60) 
                  Wales  - £40 
                   
                  Rapid Delivery - Certain items can be sent  overnight for a surcharge of £10, or Saturday + £30 
                   
                  Delivery Service Inland 
                    We operate our own vans and drivers 7 days a week for the  majority of our deliveries to provide you with the best and most trouble free  delivery service we can. Our vans normally operate with a helpful driver who  can deliver items to your door. On invitation from you he will help you locate  the furniture to any reasonable location in your home. We'll help deliver most  large and bulky item to any room, provided drivers do not feel there are any  health and safety issues such as a staircase which is too narrow, or there is a  danger of damage to the customer's property 
                    If you require two man deliveries and/or set up and  installation services we can arrange this for you at an additional charge.

                    We are confident that you will be pleased with your  purchase, which is why we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If within 7  days of delivery you're not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will  offer a credit note or a full refund*. All we ask is that the relevant item(s)  are in the condition they were when delivered. 
                    Certain products may be excluded from our 7-day satisfaction  guarantee, you will be advised of this when ordering.  
                    *Please note, full credit is at the Manager’s discretion on  a per-order basis. 
                    Credits will be for the value of item(s), excluding delivery charges applied.  Contact our office and we will arrange free collection. 
                    Your statutory rights are not affected. 
                     
                    FURNITURE CONSTRUCTION 
                    All our furniture is of solid construction, except wardrobes  & beds which due their size will be delivered part-assembled. 
                     
                    DELIVERY TIMESCALES 
                    Certain ranges are made to order, therefore each range  states a unique estimated delivery time. 
                    We'll do our best to get your shopping to you within 3-6  weeks but it can depend on where you live and what's in stock. Please see  individual product information pages for up-to-date delivery lead times on  specific items. 
                    Whilst we always endeavor to deliver within the timescales,  supplier delays sometimes occur, we will advise you accordingly. Additionally,  bespoke items sourced overseas may be subject to further delays. 
                    Most deliveries are made in the morning (7.30am - 1pm) or  afternoon (12pm - 6pm), although some products may vary. As soon as your goods  are ready to be dispatched, a customer services agent will contact you to  arrange a suitable delivery date. Please note that a signature will be required  at the time of delivery.

                    We know that unexpected things happen and there might be an  instance when you can't be there to receive your delivery. If so, don’t worry.  Just call us at least 3 days before the agreed delivery date and we'll arrange  another convenient date with you. 
                    We reserve the right to restrict these services at any time.  We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional  circumstances. All delivery times quoted are subject to stock availability and  delivery location. 
                     
                    DAMAGES/RETURNS POLICY 
                    Damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery,  following your notification by email,phone or fax to our office we will contact  you within seven days to arrange exchange or supplemental delivery. 
                     
                    REFUNDS 
                    How long will it take to receive a refund from returned  products? 
                    Products you wish to return must be in a saleable condition in its original,  undamaged packaging, and we will consider the overall condition of the product  being returned when making a refund. We will refund the price of the item to  the purchaser or exchange it as soon as it is received by us. This will usually  reach that account within 7 working days. Timings will, however, depend on the  speed with which your credit/debit card company process the credit. A refund of  the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or  faulty goods. 
                     
                    BESPOKE AND MADE TO MEASURE SERVICE. 
                      Feeling creative? Why not take advantage of our Bespoke and  made to measure service. 
                      At Rustic Journey, we are pleased to offer our bespoke  service whereby we can manufacture & finish most items of furniture to your  design & size. All we require is a sketch with measurements, which can be  email or faxed. 
                      Whilst browsing our Online Store, look out for the Rustic  Journey, the vast majority of which is available to be made to your  specifications. To request a quote for a bespoke item, please provide us  with  your name and email address and as  much detail as possible of the item you require, including height, width &  depth, and finish/colour. If based on an item listed on our online store, please  quote item code/full description shown.
